Take Time To Listen

This past Monday I was riding my bicycle by a convenience store and saw two employees hanging around outside. It looked like the two women were taking a break (though one of them later claimed they were working). Usually when approaching people with the gospel, I prefer doing my "survey technique." But in this case I simply offered the women tracts. Neither of them would take one. So I asked if they knew what the tracts were about. One of them figured it had to do with “church.” It was then the other woman stated, “I have my own beliefs!”
I responded by asking if she knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. This woman claimed she did and so I asked her to say, “Jesus is my Lord.” This is my way of testing if someone really is saved for 1 Corinthians 12:3 says, “…no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.”
